Default Cleaning windshield - advice

Can anyone recommend a heavy duty glass cleaner or technique?

I am getting haze marks on the windshield, in particularwhere the passenger side wiper stops (comes to top of arc) in front of the driver's side (2002 X). It seems to leave a deposit when it stops there - perhaps silicone from the blade? Dunno but it is annoying.

I've tried regular glass cleaner, auto glass cleaner, simple green, razor blades, fine steel wool (always did the trick when I was a detailer), and turtle wax rubbing compound. None have worked to remove the haze, although the rubbing compound did seem to clean it better than anything else.

Oh yeah, I tried a claybar too. Nope.

Bon Ami - most I know use it. Takes all crap off the windshield. You can usually find it in the grocery store.

Thanks! I'll see if I can find that. What is it, like Comet or something?
