Default fine scratches on wood interior panels

Purchased a 2007 XK which was in excellent condition except for what appears to be fine surface scratches, almost like swirl marks, on the wood interior pieces. Does anyone have a method of removing them? thanks

Try 5 zero steel wool followed by a waxing. Test on inconspicuous area first.

Im guessing the wood pieces will eithe be varnished or lacqured with clear coat, you can hide the swirl marks with something like autoglym super resin polish which has fillers in or try and remove them with some light cutting polish / compound such as menzerna final finish or 3m ultrafina.

I suggest using a 2" pneumatic polisher with a 2" foam polishing pad. Be sure to mask and cover surrounding areas for any product that may sling or splatter, use 1 or 2 very small drops of a fine polish such as Sonax PF or Megs M205. Remove the polish with an extremely fine, soft MF towel, inspect for desired results and the wax or seal with a small applicator pad.

You will definitely see some improved results with this method.
