Leather Seat Damage

The driver's seat in my 07 XK has a worn spot on the left bolster.

I've been looking at products on Amazon and elsewhere to clean and recondition the leather seats, which are in pretty good shape other than in the photo.

The problem is trying to decide on the correct color restorer.

For instance, Clyde's has beige and cream. To me, it looks like cream is closer to the seat.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a color restorer they've used on tan seats?

Cheers

Seat doctors will get you an exact match with your Vin. I recommend them. The color match worked great on my xj8. PS. Also buy their leather filler

After that keep them looking great using Leatherique. When I heard that RR and Bentley use leatherique that was good enough.

Some TIme Sunlight' Heat' Moisture' Scratches' Wear and Tear
To prevent damage to leather seats, it is important to keep them clean, condition them regularly, and avoid exposing them to direct sunlight, extreme heat, or moisture. It is also a good idea to avoid wearing sharp or abrasive clothing or accessories when sitting on a leather seat So don't worry take your car to a mechanic they will give you a proper treatment for your car.

This is a before and after three very light coats of Seat Doctors Almond Leather and Vinyl Dye dabbed on with a micro fibre cloth and lightly buffed when dry.

Thanks @Ken Cantor
Could you please add your comments on the outcome? When I look at these pics it seems the colour does not match. And I am in the same predicament.

Cheers.

@guy Those are just phone camera photos taken from different places, the first standing with the door open and the second from the passenger seat so the lighting is different but the colour match is identical. If you look at the second picture, the bolster was done and the perforated seat back was not…

I took this for you this morning:

If you look closely, you can see a slight hint of blue just above and parallel to the deepest crease. This is after five months with one intervening touch up in the interim. My guess is the original stain was blue jean dye. I would also guess that after one or two more touch ups - now that I’m more comfortable with a more generous application - it will last even longer.
