The seats, particually the drivers seat in my 2000 XK8are really starting to show serious wear. It has only 39k miles on it. I just got this car, and it looks to me like it might have been covered up with some leather repair or something, that has really let go in the short time I have had the car.

Can anyone tell me where I might find a replacement seat that is in excellent condition ? Also, can the 2001 up seats be placed into a 2000 car ?

If I cant find a seat, can anyone tell me about repairing the leather, will these repair kits actually work ?

Joel, i've read several threads around here and most simply recommend taking it to an upholstery shop, where they can closely match the seat leather to the original. Surely that has to be less expensive than trying to buy another seat, I would imagine. Take it to a couple places and see if they can match it up, and what it will cost. Wish you luck.
