Default Power steering pump problems.

It appears I have a power steering pump pully that is walking off the shaft. It is about 3/8 of an inch out of line and justturned another belt into shreads.
My questions, Why is this happening? And do I need to pull the radiator to remove and reposition the pully?

no .. some times the pulley bolts comes loose or you need a new one due to the front pump bearing failing... don't have to remove fan or rad to change or fix and pump problems.

Thanks JG, You're right, the shaft was coming out of the pump. It was working fine, and not leaking at all.it was, however, popping out just long enough to shread the belt. I did go ahead and pull the radiator. It was a little extra work, but, at least,I could see what I was doing. Its all back together now and I'm waiting for my next surprise in Jaguar country.
