Default Respray & Waxing

How long must you wait after a respray until it is safe to apply wax to the new paint?

in theory it can go on straight away using a water-based paint and autoclave or oven booth, but it does gas off for a good few days.
I see no reason why you can't use a wash-on wax application, and give it a week or two before a carnauba / polymer coating

TRankin,

I recommend that you allow the paint an additional 30 days of curing time before applying any wax or sealant to the finish. It is ok to wash, use quick detailer in between washes if necessary. Polishing may also be done, but just no wax or sealant.
