Default Solid Black XK8 Correction/caliper and front grills.

Hi Everyone,

Thought I'd put a little post on here on a XK I'm currently working on, the car is a 2007 XK8 in Solid Black and yes very swirly too.

The car is new to the owner who bought it from a main dealers who had apparently applied Autoglym Lifeshine, ok being protected but to apply it ontop of all the swirls and paintwork defects [j28] tyipcal dealer though nice quick easy £££ quick srp followed by lifeshine.

Anyway the owner contacted me with respect to the paintwork and seeing if I could make it any better :smt023 and also repait the brake calipers as they had seen a few too many acid wheel cleaners, he had also bought a new lot of mesh grills for the front bumper to which I fitted also.

Anyway I'll pop up a few pics for you to look at.

contamination picked up just from the rear quarter.

And this was repeated for the other 2 calipers, while all the wheels were off they were cleaned and sealed with wolfs rim sealant.

And finally a few pics of the car nearly finished, just have to apply a glaze and seal it in the morning, here it is with the new grills too.

Had to remove the headlights, belly pan and front bumper to access the grills and fit the new 1's.
