Whats under the bubble?
Rot! And its deep! I attacked this myself. I am no bodywork guru. I do it to save money. I have made lots of mistakes as well. Thats one of the reasons I bought a White car! It is very forgiving. Don't be afraid to take on some bubbles. This area and a few more were bubbled up, I started chipping some away and BAM I found a crater. Took a total of about 8-9 hours spaced over 4 days. I am satisfied with the results, because the car is white. I had a can of base coat made using the paint ID code on the door. Clear coat in a spray can is no fun, not for me anyway.
Wow.....big props to you for taking this "Rot" job on......looks like you eliminated the cancer and got her looking good again! Congrats!! It must feel good to save some money and get her done!
