Default Oil mixing with water

Hi! I am working on a Jaguar XF 2010 diesel and is being mixing oil and water, we drained oil but there were no sign of water from the engine oil, the car has been flushed several times course the oil is going to the cooling system, it has also overheated, we already have taken off cylinder heads to replace the gaskets but now we also suspect that may it be the seals in an oil cooler where there is an oil filter on the block behind the diesel pump? Can you please help course it little expensive to buy new oil cooler, or must i get new oil cooler seals? Your help can be very appreciated..
