Default Just bought an E-Pace

I must be a sucker for punishment, just bought a 2018 SE 2.0D 177kw D240

It doesn’t look quite as good as my old S-Type but it has the right badge ;-)

Congrats! What cars did you test drive before taking the plunge?

I'm deciding between the Volvo XC40 and the E-Pace.

I was just a little disappointed by both the quality of service from our Volvo dealer, the number of major failures from the XC90 (throttle position sensor, turbo intercooler piping, watchspring), trim failures (the rear tailgate, radio switches, badging) and the scrubbing of $700 tyres over 15000km regardless of alignment.
In five years I seriously spent more time and effort on keeping a new Volvo on the road than I did with a 2003 S-Type.
And the E-Pace looks so much better.

Yikes. And the XC90 is made in Sweden, not in China.
Please keep us posted on your ownership experience of the beautiful E-Pace for those of us still on the fence.

Default 2018 e-pace

My wife traded her 2nd Audi Q3 in for the E-PACE. She still isn't convinced that the E-PACE is a better vehicle.

I have to admit that the Q3 has the better looks, better gas mileage, and is noticeably lighter on her feet than the E-PACE but the Jaguar has more comfortable seats, has much nicer features, and can tow my boat.
