Default 6.0 v12

I'm hoping the followers on this board can answer a quick question about engine swaps. I want to know if a 1994 6.0 V12 can fit in place of a 5.3 V12 in a 1972 E-Type? If so, am I correct that the original transmission would mate up or would an adapter be necessary.

Thanks,

I would think that the block is relatively the same, but I wonder about sufficient clearance under the bonnet for the EFI stuff.

These guys would know: V12 E-type EFI-conversion / AJ6 Engineering

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe the oil pan will clear as you'd hope. Iirc it's a few inches deeper

you could flip the oil pans,

the block would need to be redrilled for the new block, in a few places which isn't really a big deal.

I agree with m90, id throw the carb setup and keep.the front pully system from the 6.0
