Default 69 e-type no blinkers

Hello all, neither blinker works on my 69 e-type roadster. Fuse is OK. Any ideas where the flasher is or if there is something else to check? As always, many thanks for your time!

I believe the flasher is behind your instrument cluster, in the fuse box area....Should be pretty obvious when you look in there....
Before you do that, try turning your hazard flasher switch on and off a few times,(rapidly), and see if that brings the turn signals back....
Also, make sure you are using the correct # bulbs...Flashers work on resistance, (heat), and a low resistance bulb , will not allow the flasher to work.

Default It worked. New issue.

Thanks Edward. Not sure why, but both blinkers working fine. Took it for a ride and unfortunately another issue came up. When its a warm day and I travel 15-20 miles, it acts like its running out of gas. It spits, sputters and pops. If I let it sit for a moment, it will again start but will only idle. try and give it gas and it dies. If I let it sit for an hour or so it will go. I tried tapping the fuel pump with a screwdriver to no avail. I'm planning on starting with replacing the fuel pump. Any other suggestions? Many thanks for your time. Rick

That's a strange coincidence...Had the identical issue yesterday, on a long ride.....
My first thought is bad gas....I use 93 octane non-ethenol, from the same station, but wondering if I got the bottom of the tank stuff....I had to nurse it home, but when I got above 60, it smoothed out a little. Going to take a look at the pump, also.

you might want to look at the coil, and plug wires as well. When the engine bay heats up these parts can cause trouble if they are marginal.

Ditto on this advice. It is a common problem.
