I have almost all the parts assembled for my head rebuild with the exception of the intake valve seals. I wanted to purchase VITON seals from SNG because I thought this was an improved material but now find it was the original material used by Jag so not necessarily improved but they are out of stock and are now special order. Its not hard to find seals but many suppliers cannot tell me if they are VITON.or another improved material. Then again there is a Teflon alternative. There is also a service notice that says the later improved seals can be used on both the inlet and exhaust sides. As always I find more informed and experienced owners with good advice on this site! Your feedback is appreciated!!

 

Ok turns out SNG’s back order time was only a couple weeks on the VITON seals so I ordered them.
