73 V12 Oil Smoking

73 V12 Oil Smoking

Does anybody have any expierence with V12 Jags. I have one that is now smoking out the back. I have heard that these V12s need their valves adjusted quite often, would this be the cause of this problem or just bad valve seals?

When you say smoking, on start up or when driving it ?

not at all familiar with these engines, but generally speaking that does sound like valve lash to me.
