All synchro Moss gearbox?
I'm currently in England and I heard about a company here called "JB Sports Engineering" which offers to replace the internals of a Moss box with fully synchronized gears. It's still a four-speed, with that characteristic whine in first gear, but, supposedly it's a much nicer gearbox to use on a daily basis.
Has anyone else heard of this or, better yet, tried one of these gearboxes?

Well here is their website and yes, they do offer an all-synchro gearbox for the Moss box, but no price given. Why not give them a call ?
JB Sports Engineering - Salisbury axle rebuilds, Moss gearbox rebulds and race preparation for Morgan sportscars and historic cars
They seem to major on Morgan cars, which presumably had Moss boxes at one time.

I understand their price to convert a Moss gearbox to full synchronicity is 4,800 pounds ($6,000)...a lot of dough, but not a significant amount in a $200k nut & bolt restoration.
Yes, not cheap, but something like this is bound to be expensive as the demand will never be enough to justify mass production. Is the whole gear train replaced or is it just a modification ?
