Default Classic Car Rescue - E-Type

Anyone see the above show on UK TV on Monday (Channel 5 - 8pm)?

It seems to be another one of these 'docu-soaps' where there are loads of 'arguments' between the main characters on the show (a la American Chopper/Sons of Guns/ American Guns etc) but in between all that nonsense there are some interesting bits on the build (I record them an FF through the fake crap)

Anyway - they took an old 60's wrecker of an e-type - welded new floor panels, restored bodywork, re-spray (in red), interior re-trim, engine tune-up.

They bought the car (left hand drive) for £12,000 and apparently did the re-build in 28 days (with about 6 'helpers'), and got it valued at the end for £30,000

....... and you can win it in the competition at the end by texting or calling a number. Next week its a 911.

Thought you'd like to know....
