Recently bought this book and found a color photo of an E engine compartment. Photo dated 4/18/02. Looks to be of a recent redo... Distinctive car, it's a reddish/burgundy and the underside of the bonnet has been repainted black. The air cleaner plenum was also repainted the reddish/burgundy. I think it's a pre-69 car as its voltage regulator is mounted on the right hand side bulkhead. Lots of chrome bits on the engine and the 3 carbs have highly polished pots. Thought I'd try to get it to the current owner. PM me if this is your car.
