Have to say this is the first I've heard, generally nothing but really good things about SNG Barratt by many many members here?

Might be worth shooting them a pm through the forum pm system

Good luck

I always call and place my order; usually get Will on the phone. That way you can verify the parts are in stock and you are getting what you want. They are super knowledgeable, helpful and shipping is always prompt and fair.

I buy from SNG Barratt via email frequently with no problem.
Place your order, they cut their internal order and quote price and shipping cost, you approve they ship. What's the big deal?

I agree it's no big deal. But if you're accustomed to 'order it and forget it', the SNG method takes a little getting used to.

When I've ordered from them I have be pleased with the shipping charges. I just placed an order a couple days ago and the shipping charge was quite a bit less than I anticipated

I have stopped/cancelled orders with other outfits when their on-line order system applies (what appear to be) crazy shipping charges. At SNG it appears that an actual person reviews and order and calculates an actual, fair shipping amount....and then asks for customer approval.

Cheers
DD

guess the big deal is i ordered fri, mon still waiting on shipping quote. can't tell customer found his part . but have to wait a few days before i can really order it then wait some more days before i can get it. that he'll have to wait a couple of weeks before i can fix his car, unless he wants to pay more to get from someone else. my car no big deal. have 5 others to drive while i wait. can't be on phone and work too

When placing the on-line order I *think* there is a comments box. Maybe you could just enter "I do not need a shipping quote. Please ship the order"

Hopefully someone from SNG will chime in.

Cheers

My experience has been that it is better to call...That way you can verify that they have what you need, and they will send it right away...On smaller parts, I always ask to ship by post office, as FedX and UPS charges are much higher.
