Default Help with Tools

Hello Jaguar Board,

Probably not the most appropriate location to post this, but I am a new member with limited access.

My sisters and I are cleaning out my father's estate and we could use some guidance as to his specialized Jag tools and memorabilia. He has a number of E and XJS specialized tools, service manuals, vintage E-type magazine collection. Do these have value and if so, do you have suggestions as to where to post them?

Thanks in advance,

Jim

Hi Jim,
All of those things have value. The tools and factory shop manuals would be of interest to those restoring a car (like my self), memorabilia and the old magazines would be of interest to just about every Jaguar enthusiast.Personally, I would be interested in the tools and the E-Type factory shop manuals depending on what year car they are for.
There are several locations to post the items for sale, but I would start with this forum first.
Good luck.
Bill.
PS: What year is your 911?

Thank you CF & Daytona,

I am not in the same town as the estate. Anticipate I'll be back in the next few weeks, at which time I'll gather everything up and post or reach out to each of you. FYI, it's a 2005, 997.1, great driver that needs to be driven.

Happy Motoring,

Jim

Hello Jag Members,

Here is what I found for tools. The Lucas electronic device is for diagnosing cruise control. There are some other lucas electronic items.

Please let me know if anyone would like close up pics of any of the items.

Thanks,

Jim
