Default Leaking Carb

Anyone have an idea why my carb is leaking on my 3.8. If i adjust the mixture screw richer it leaks more, if i lean it gets less. But it is leaking up high above the cam shaft?

The jet diaphragm is probably disintegrated is my guess or possibly one of the 4 screws that hold the bottom cover of the carb vibrated loose.

The only thing that can leak at that point is the jet diaphragm. It could be a torn diaphragm, but it's also possible to get this problem if the floats are set too high. When this happens, fuel can overflow the jet and settle onto the top of the diaphragm. You should remove the bells and pistons and sight down into the jet. If fuel is overflowing the jet, then check the float. Otherwise, torn diaphragm.
