My issue-revised with more details-radiator fans
Hello all!
I appologize for my previuos post (I did not give all the info needed). I have a 71 XKE series III 2+2 v12. When starting, I turn the key just to get the fuel pump started, at this point the radiator fans(2) also kick on...then I start the car. The other day, after driving 20miles or so I noticed the temp gauge was showing in the red, saw that the fans quit working along with the A/C. I parked her ASAP due to temp guage skyrocketing! The next day, I went to start her, and low and behold...the fans worked along with the A/C when I started it.
My concerns are: What is the possible issue (temp switch is faulty?), and is it intermitent issue or warm engine-cut out issue due to sensors or a possible short/ground issue? Why is it related to the A/C? Not sure where to start.
Thanks!!
P.S. Thanks DD for the recent help...
