Default OTS Seats quick fix

Hello everyone. Like in many S1 OTS, both my seats show an ugly bald spot in the back, due to the constant rubbing against the foldable top frame.
I found a pretty effective and very inexpensive solution that I would like to share:

1. Go to Flocking Unlimited https://www.flockingunlimited.com/co...rayon-flocking and find a flocking color that is close to the color of the back of your seats.
2. Using a spray glue like 3M 77, spray an even and light coat of glue in the bald area. Make sure to mask off everything else with tape and nylon bags.
3. Using a strainer, pepper the flocking material onto the glued surface. Let it dry for 2-3 hours.
4. Vacuum off the excess flocking.
5. Repeat all steps above as many time as necessary to cover the bald spot. I took 4 layers to cover mine.

Pics of the before and after attached. Keep in mind that flocking material can be mixed to obtain a particular shade of color.

Hi Dan219, thanks for sharing your fix. That is a good way to restore the back of the seats. I have used flocking before to repair the inside of a glove box, but would not have thought of using it on the back of the seat. That is a great tip. Thanks again for sharing.
