Has anyone replaced their ammeter gauge with replacement part C25677 from SNG Barratt? I recently ordered and received one and in comparing it to the original, found that the connections for the braided wiring as well as the bulb are different. I have a call into them but wonder if anyone can share what's involved. My E is a LHD (U.S.) S1 4.2, September 1966 build. Pix of the original gauge wiring is below, ammeter on right, hinged gauge panel lowered.
