Default Sending hope your way

Here in Wisconsin, I hope that we never have to go through what our friends are dealing with in the path of Helene and Milton. I know I am speaking for others on this forum to send our hopes and prayers for recovery and moving forward, if that is even possible. The photos and videos we're seeing here (via the media) are horrendous. Sending you courage and strength in the coming months.

Hi Valerie, Thank you for your good and supportive thoughts.
We live in Ormond beach (Daytona area). We were very lucky, and had no more than just the annoyance of having to clean debris from our yard. But there are a lot of people that have lost everything, and I can't begin to imagine what that is like.
Like you I wish all the strength and resilience to pick up the pieces and rebuild their lives.

Eastern Tennessee and Ashville North Carolina really were hit hard. Two of the interstates in and out of there have been closed down, I 40 and I 26. The Tennessee River through Knoxville has been muddy brown since Helene hit. The Fort Loudon Dam has a crane for removing logs and debris. This has been going on for about 2 weeks so far. The TV stations suggest if you want to donate money to the relief efforts, to donate to the East Tennessee Foundation's Neighbor to Neighbor Disaster Relief Fund.

The people of East Tennessee and Western NC need our help and it will take a long time to recover for this natural disaster.
