After replacing ball joints and checking steering play, I have checked the toe in crudely, but I think accurately enough, and find it needs adjustment. Later, I will have it adjusted by a well equipped alignment shop.

The nominal toe in is given as +3/32". I want to check my understanding. I believe that means the front of the wheel rim is in from nominal by 3/32" while the rear is out by the same amount. So the difference is 3/16" per wheel and if measured from one wheel to the other, the difference is 3/8". Is that correct or am I off by a factor of 2 or 4?
