Default Bad luck at shop continues...Alignment tech said can't adjust toe in...

So the alignment shop said they'd adjust the toe in and then the car would revert back to the way it back to what it thinks is normal...So obviously I said "huh?" the guy was babbling about jaguars, it's computer and it's steering system...He said enough to get me to not trust him with the car so I left without putting up a fight or request a more logical answer...

Anyone know what this guy was talking about, do you need to disable something?

Perhaps you suffer from the same syndrome I do in that "if there's an idiot within a fifty mile radius they somehow find you". Looks like one found you - move on. Nothing prevents an alignment technician from adjusting the toe-in to Brutal's specifications. Camber on the front will only come within the outside specs.

Insist on the specs you provide and if the car is lowered warn 'em.

This advice is worth exactly what ya paid for it...

That's what I figured. To be clear, they actually did have the car for 20 mins and said they'd adjust it and would revert back...

I feel your agony my friend. Ummmm...why don't you just go to a Jag dealer and have them do it correctly? Whenever I'm in doubt and hesitant to take my Jag to some mechanic for something that requires proper equipment and tech skills, just head over to the nearest Jag dealership
Hope it works out in the end.

Nearest is 120 miles away and they're about 4 times the cost of the local shops down here...I may have no choice, maybe I'll get a second keyfab while I'm there...

Jeez, there has to be a tire shop that can adjust toe etc to the specs you provide! You can do toe DIY if you have to.......
