Default tool roll for a 1969 xke, help needed for newbie

Is there such a thing as a "correct" tool roll for a series 2 xke as far as concourse competitions go? I have been checking ebay and no 2 seem to be alike. Google is a bit vague too. Also if I saw a roll that had mostly appropriate tools and some repro, what is the expected cost very approximately? Thanks in anticipation
PS I was told they were an optional extra from importers, rather than a roll supplied with every new car?

If it was an optional non-factory extra, then presumably it is not
part of the judging process.

Good point and you may be correct. I would have liked to have had such an item. It was a factory extra by the way. Thanks for your input. Suspect I'm on the wrong forum.

Find a pic of an original car, with its tool roll shown, and that should be the original. They had far fewer tools than series one, no grease gun, and the spanner scan be SSP or Garrignton. There is one on eBay as we speak, for $600.

Default tool roll

I know my series 1.5 US did not come with a tool roll but an abbreviated kit with a jack (and bag), hammer, adapter for the 3 ear spinner, tommy bar and spark plug wrench.

I saw a description of the Series 2 tool kit kindly sent by a concours judge over at jag-lovers.org and yes, no grease gun, only 2 box spanners and no bahco adjustable spanner. I had been looking at e-bay and this caught my eye but now it appears to be a bit of a hybrid... XKE E Type Jaguar Tool KIT Roll | eBay but at least now, I think I know what I need to look for. Thanks to all

These are the flat spanners. Made by Sheffield Steel Products, (SSP).
