I知 seeing the tradtional full sized vin plate in Series II cars, but then some I知 looking at, have a skinny tag with just serial numbers. Is this an indication that Jaguar did an engine switch or other warranty work? Is it an acceptable plate?

 

Late series 2 cars had a longer "skinny" serial number plate.
