my v12 e type starts ok until it reaches normal running temp but then the tick over rpm gets faster and faster, the only way I have of correcting this is to blip the throttle. I have lubed up all linkage with no improvement, im thinking does my car have an air leak or could there be a fault in the carbs ?

Wayne,

Welcome to the Forum.

When time permits, please do an Intro in the New Members Area.

You will need to post this in the E Type Tech section.

The cars in this area are all Fuel Infected, and not remotely related to the mighty E.

I reckon a carby issue, as in binding spindles as a starter.

GGG (Graham) will catch this soon and move you over.
