xke 4spd late trans.

How do ypu get the top off of a late model 4 speed trans ??
I have undone the 10 bolts and it only comes up an 1/8" but not off!.....

4 spd

ok, the 4 spd jag xke trans always gets hung-up on the dowels when you try to remove the top cover, soo lever it okk gently!
