Yeah, I'm Swedish. Um, well, I'm from Finland, originally. I just signed up here, and I live in Jonsered, outside of Gothenburg.

It is good to see you guys from Sweden, so now with the shorter days approaching, and inclement weather, how do you get along with your Jaguars?

Could be a good Off Topic thread.

Well here in the souther parts of Sweden we can easily drive to the end of October. After that they tend to spread that awful salt over the roads as soon as the temperature drops a bit. So from November until the end of April I'll keep my cat in a garage.

It'll be a loooong winter this year

So far, fabulously well. The snow is still at least a month away, hopefully more, and with any luck there won't be much of it. They fight it with salt which worries me. I bought my cat to drive with, though, and I'll deal with the situation when and if I have to.

I´m actually looking for some winter tyres right now. Looking forward going sideways all winter with my skis on the roof and the gearbox in sport mode!
Don't think it will be much of a problem if you clean more properly and more often.

Yeah, that's what I'm figuring. I got a nice set of winter tyres with my S-Type - they are practically new Nokian - and so I'm looking forward to it too. Sport mode FTW.
