Can the trim be easily removed from the sides of the 2004 XJR resulting in the smooth sides of the 07 XJR? I really like the uncluttered appearance of the later model. TIA
Members report successfully removing the similar trims on the X308 and XK8 by warming and carefully easing away with a loop of nylon fishing line. On the X308 and XK8, the body is painted under the moulding so no remedial work required other than cleaning off any residual adhesive. I'd expect the X350 to be the same.
