Default Input and Advice?

I have the most beautiful 98 XK8. It is truly a work of art. Blue with dark blue top. Chrome wheels and very subtle. When I bought it I had an aguar as the J was missing on the back. Took a teflon spatula and removed them. Used WD-40 and it is all cleaned up and looks better without the letters. Stainless license plate cover adds some contrast to the blue and looks great.

I would like to find a stainless mesh grill. More aggressive exhaust tips(not coffee cans) that extend tad more to provide more shine in contrast to the paint. Also would like to add either K&N or some aggresive air filter system to add something under the hood.

These aren't much but I feel that you don't repaint the Mona Lisa but I can do subtle things.

Advice or thoughts?

K and N air filter doesn't really provide better performance, but it does provide better gas mileage. A better exhaust does sound great. As for the de-badging you've done, do you have any pics to show us?

Pictures....no. For that I am going to have to get my techno teenager to use the digital and perhaps post.

It really was simple. The letters are plastic with adhesive tape. The WD-40 soaked in and it just peeled off.

I was eyeballing the XK8 on the passenger side rear and thought about it. I did notice somethng extra there between the letters and decided to wait. Then I read the manual and the key entry to the trunk is hidden there. Would have been a butcher job.

It was $86 to get new letters. It looked "cluttered" to me and you already know it is a Jag? It looks better without them.
