As I use to do this sort of thing at a previous employer. Sometimes you need to do something off the wall just to get people thinking in a new direction. That is what designers do. But back to the question? Is it real or photoshop. Well it is real. Although its held on with twoface tape. But the scoop is a genuine shaker scoop from a 1969-1970 mustang. I could not resist. As I said. Let it begin.....
I like the comment, "that ain't right man". But the shapes really compliment each other. Hopefully tonight when everyone gets a glance of this it will bring a smile to some faces.
Lighten up people........

While I can appreciate the need for a hood scoop (I may need one for my 76 with my next engine), WHY the heck did you put a matte black one on (not to mention that it's SO SQUARE!!!)? You could have at least kept with the lines of the car...lol.
But hey...at least you can say, "You'll never see another one like it!!!"

The best would be a nice aftermarket "R" type hood with the louvers that does'nt cost the arm and leg. But I was also thinking along the line of the smaller lemans scoops of the current run mustang on top of the jag's powerdome. But mounting it in reverse fashion ala the firebird trans-am.
The challange is for me to figure out how to make this function on a car it was not designed for. The mustang not the jag. The jag would be easy because the throttle body is on the top and in the rear.
Just playing around.
