The arch well space on an XK and XJ is a lot different..

I have also have a '99 XJR with 20x10s on the rear with 285/30 20 tyres on them. Like the original poster of the XK, I have stock tyres from an XKR.

Damn the car looks good. The lowered stance and wheels really set it off.

I really like the sleek look of the XK and you make me want one even more.

Hope you're still on the forum...
What did Huntington Beach charge you? Did they do good work overall? Did they have to adjust the suspension?

Nice. The early XK8s have very clean lines.

What type of suspension did you put on?
Coilovers or just springs?

WOW! That looks sharp! I'm completely impressed. I've always thought the XK coupes looked fast, but with it being lowered like that it looks way better than a Porsche or a Vette. I wonder what a convertible would look like lowered like that.

Oh well... I keep coming back to this thread because that car truly looks badass! It almost make me wish I had the coupe... almost...

I think I'm going to start working on the door guards in the next day or two on my convertible, and tirerack.com has the H&R spring set for $315. I was talking to a friend at work today and he convinced me that I could do the springs on my own. Autozone apparently loans out all the tools I'd need.

I bought this car mostly so my wife and I could take a nice, long, two-week road trip. I'm going to end up spending all of our vacation money on mods and upgrades.

I've had the side view as my desktop for over a year now haha. Found it on Google when searching for images. Had no idea the owner was a member here. Wonder if they still have it.

That looks great, lowering a car and a nice set of shoes does wonders.
