The 2016 Jaguars take New Orleans
Never been an SUV or crossover person but I really like this! If the F-Pace is like a more practical F-Type, I am sold. Most likely the next replacement for my wife’s car.

That's the one car I didn't photo inside. I was about to and a very attractive young women jumped in. They were getting ready for the parade, so I backed off.
It's classy and refined. Much better in person.

It sounds odd, but the first thing you think off when seeing the rear, is how much it reminds you of the F Type coupe. I don't know if that impression holds in photos but it wasn't just me.
If that happens again, just get the pic of her and post it on the Off Topic section under "Girls on Jags"..
Say G, thanks for the photos. Are those of you at this event affiliated with dealerships?
Also, back seat seems snug, and rear window compressed. How is room and visibility respectively?

Yes, every there was a dealership rep. covering North America.
I didn't do the usual put the front seat all the way back before hoping in the back, but it's big back there. I was one of three in the back and everyone had much more room than any of the sedans, even a XKL.
The cabin felt airy, maybe because of the enormous panaramic roof. Everything you touched (I always close my eyes and start touching away) felt high end. It's really nice.
I can't believe it starts at $40k with a 5/60 warranty with free maintenance. One thing that might have gotten then to these new and lower price points was reducing the margins. Already so much lower than Mercedes and BMW.
Salespeople were pissed. The dealerships will still make money but salespeople thought this was the first step down the path to hourly wages. Rover did it too and oh my God, what a bounce of whinners. Bitching and moaning was a common theme I kept hearing....
