Default After market brake kit (brake rotors + pads)

Hello all. New member here. Any suggestions on where to get a quality aftermarket brake kit for my 2018 F-pace? I recently received an overpriced quote from my local Jaguar dealership on brake pads & rotors replacement.

Thanks in advance!

Rock Auto usually has a good range of brake kits at a reasonable price.

Cheers & Happy New Year

I agree. about 4 years ago, when I replaced the pads and rotors on our former XF, I bought the pads and rotors from Rock Auto. They supplied me with Beck Arnley rotors, and since I was tired of dealing with brake pad dust, from the OE metallic brake pads, I went with StopTech ceramic pads, also sourced from Rock.

In addition, you need to find a reputable indie (independant mechanic) in your area to do the installation. I performed a lot of work on my cars when I was younger and more mobile, but even then I always left the brake work to a professional.

How well do the ceramic pads work? Getting tired of bending over and cleaning brake dust!

If you do a search you will find lots of posts and lots of opinions. I don't track my cars or drive hard. I'm very easy on the brakes. My brake pads last for years. I've found ceramic pads produce a lot less dust.
As always, YMMV (your milage may vary).

Cheers
