Default Apple Car Play 2017 F Pace

I have a 2017 F Pace and my dealer told me last week that Apple Car Play was NOT supported because I had the older version of the 12 inch Incontrol Touch Screen Pro. I’m wondering whether they are wrong. They updated my software to Phase 4??? And btw the continuity between screens does not look right.

I’m confused. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Its not necessarily an older version touch pro but the USB interface is different on cars that support Apple play they have to support USB3 a SIM card and WiFi I know from the F-Pace forums that in some markets outside the UK that even MY19 cars can't have Apple Play for that reason. It is worth visiting another dealer to see if they can do it as again in some markets it was a quite expensive upgrade.
