Default Considering a 2022 F-Pace P340 but....

New to the forum. Hi...

I am considering the 2022 P340 but have a few concerns.

1. Resale value. I have heard Jags don't maintain their value well after 4-5 years as compared to other luxury SUVs in the class.
2. Last generation. Given that Jaguar has committed to being fully electric by 2025, I wonder what the resale market for this generation of the F-Pace will be.
3. Hight maintenance. I am told Jags are expensive to maintain after the warranty expires.

Do current owners have any thoughts on the above?

Much appreciated. Thnx...

#1 which is why a 2 YO CPO F Pace is a great deal.

#2 that will be the case regardless of which vehicle you get. I considered an I Pace but needed more range.

#3 that is true of any comparable Euro SUV.

1. The F-Pace new, or used, is in high demand. If you buy CPO it is a fantastic deal.

2. No idea what the market will be like. I would imagine that there will be a "never electric" brigade that will only buy used gas cars, until they complain "I can't fill up my car within 30 miles" (Remember, "I'm not buying electric. No Charging Stations near me"). When EV carsfully take off your traditional gas station will have two golden arches

3. The standard US warranty is for 5 years (and FREE services) CPO pushes that out to a transferable 6 years. Buy a BMW and, trust me, you may as well chuck your wallet down the nearest well.

The F-Pace holds a good resale value because it is an SUV. What kills it is the mileage. "Assuming" you bought a brand new 2022 F-Pace
& in 1 year you plan to sell it with 100K miles on it. Expect the value to dramatically decrease

Thanks for your feedback! I am looking for a 2021 CPO but they are hard to find. I anticipate a few will be available next spring as MY 2021 is still fairly new. If not, will probably get into a new 2022 and keep it for about 4-5 years before changing it.
