A week ago I bought a 2016 Jaguar Fpace and I have some questions that I hope you can help me solve.

Does the front parking sensor only work if I have previously engaged reverse gear?
If I try to leave or enter a parking lot without having used the reverse gear, it does not detect obstacles, is that correct?
In my previous car it did not work like that

In the center console In Control Plus the option "InControlApps" does not appear, what should I do to make it appear?
I have seen videos that talk about updating the software but I also cannot find that option in the menu Settings-> All settings-> Functions ...

My car does not have a connection for a MicroSIM card in the glove compartment, only 2 USB and a 12V socket.

I have also read that since 2019 it integrates with AndroidAuto. With the software updates would AndroidAuto be incorporated or should I go to the dealer?

Have you tried this? It is an XF but I believe same rule applies to F-Pace

I try in the car and if I press this option the front sensors works but I'll like thats its activated all the time.

About the others questions, can you help me? My InControl Plus haven't the connectivity option to check the wifi settings or update software options...
