I had recently my F-Pace engine blown according to the dealership. I was a month and 2k miles the standard Jaguar guarantee.
The dealership expectedly told me they wont honor the guarantee and charged me 500+ dlls to run a full diagnostic, which came back as Ï need a new engine and the estimate is 40k+. I opened a case with Jaguar customer service and it's been close to 2 months going back and forth, and the latest is that they are doing an investigation to see if they will be able to assist me financially.
The car has all its services done at the same dealership and I had just done the 60k about 6 months ago.

My question is if anyone has experience something similar with Jaguar about recently expired guarantees and how do they usually manage this? am I getting a big ft finger or do you think they will honor the reputation and the fact that a person buys a jaguar expecting it to be a reliable sturdy high performance machine?
I still owe 25k on my loan and Im even doubtful they will cover my debt let alone paying for the whole engine
