All gasoline models now get a 21.66 gallon fuel tank. This removes my major issue with the F-Pace.

It looks like its got Brembo-style brake calipers. Besides the yellow carbon ceramic package, Jaguar hasn't used those kinds of brakes for a long time.

Strangely enough Caradvice says that the bigger tank isnt in the SVR, at least for us in Australia https://www.caradvice.com.au/645754/...-pace-updates/

The SVR is on Jaguar's UK configurator. According to the site, the SVR has an 82 liter fuel tank.

61 or 82, I think this will be my next car. Unless the iPace is an awesome drive, as it should be about the same $$. I cant imagine driving a car without gears, though. Or noise.

Yes, especially having to drive over the bits that have fallen off the alfas as they get away from you.

Doubtful the Merc will even be in the ballgame with that kind of measly engine offering..LOL The Urus already has a 650HP engine and the Tesla smokes it. Lister says they are going to bring their magic to the platform. We already KNOW that VAP can bring this particular engine up to 650 HP with a simple tune and a pulley so I expect that will be Lister's starting point. I think they are going to be hard pressed to be faster than the Tesla X which runs 0-60 in 2.9 but who knows...

I DO like that they have replaced that stupid knob in the console with a PROPER lever-styled shifter that is used in my F-Type R

The hp rating must be very conservative as Car and Driver just tested it 0-60 in 3.3/11.7 quarter mile....thats just simply insane....

It's a shame Jaguar didn't try harder to break the 4.0 barrier. So close...

No doubt the SVR will easily go under this very conservative factory number. My VAP tuned and pulley’d V6 with about 445hp will rather easily do 4.3-4.4 0-60. The SVR adds another 100hp on top of that...

Agreed. Absolutely abhor that silly rotating shifter. Would never have purchased the F-type if Jaguar carried that into the high performance platform. Bad enough that I have to experience that garbage when in a courtesy vehicle.

The sporty E-Pace also has a stick. Too bad it's heavier and slower despite being smaller.

That was probably the #1 reason I discounted the non-SVR F-Pace. No REAL shifter in the center console. However, my current X5 is getting closer to 100K miles so by the time the SVR F-Pace is out, I might just move over to it as my "daily driver".
