Hi all! New to the forums.
Hello everyone. I'm currently looking to possibly buy a 2018 F- Pace Premium. Asking for feedback on this car. It currently has approx.76k on it. Dealer is asking 27k. I'm very intrigued with it,but would like to know if it's a solid, well built car. This will be my first Jag. Thanks for any info anyone is willing to pass on.
Welcome to the forums Fishinguy64,
The most important factor when buying a used Jaguar is history. The service schedule is every 16k miles or 12 months - whichever comes soonest. With 76k over five years, it should have been serviced every 12 months and ideally you want to see a file of bills supporting this.
The build quality is good although the interior of all modern Jaguars lacks the standards of the past which defined the marque. Too much plastic and synthetic "leather". Nevertheless, trim is expensive to replace so check for missing or damaged items.
Spend some time checking every switch and setting works. Apparently trivial faults can often prove costly to repair.
The number one question posted on the forums by new owners of any modern Jaguar is "where do I get a replacement key?". If it doesn't have two working Smartkeys, make sure the dealer picks up the cost of a replacement because it's expensive.
The Golden Rule when considering a user Jaguar - if in doubt, walk away.
Good luck. I hope it works out for you.

1st question is which engine. If it's a 4 cylinder then the price and mileage is too high and you don't want it anyway. If it's a 6 cylinder 35t then the price and mileage is too high and there are better examples out there.
I just bought my 4th Jag, a 2017 F Pace S that had good maintenance (oil changes early and often) and already had the front coolant pipes and water pump done. The S feels very much like a Cayenne S and usually comes with some cool features like the lighted thresholds and Alcantara headliner. I bought mine with 61,000 miles for $30,600.
2nd, if this is your first Jag, buy one that's CPO from a Jag dealer. You'll want some factory warranty backing up your first experience which CAN be a little expensive. Unless you've already owned BMW's and Audi's, in which case Jags are a dream to maintain.
