Looking at 2023 CPO
Been starting to look for a 2023 CPO as the wife's 2019 is pushing 70k and while still under the CPO warranty until 12/24, just feel that's it's time.
I'm seeing them listed for 51k and up for what I'm looking for.
Anyway, found this one listed in NJ for 48k a few weeks ago and then it was gone. Guessing it was sold. Looked online again tonight and it's back, but now showing 45k. Which is a great price.
It's the "S" model which is fine as my wife's 2019 is a Premium model with some additional upgrades.
Can't figure out why so low, unless because the carfax shows it's been there for a few months.
Thoughts???

I think the question is what's the story of its use? As far as I can tell from carfax it was sold, did 5000 miles then put up for sale 4 months after buying. Seems very short? And how has it then done another 6000 miles since then?
Was it a rental car, company car etc? Seems too short for a personal lease
Doesn't necessarily mean an issue. But - was that 11000 hard miles?

I'm "guessing" between 3/22 and 9/23 was used as a dealer demo or by one of the salesman even though it was up for sale.
The big question is, even if driven hard Jaguar still felt it was a CPO.
Yes, I know the old adage, if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. My heart says wow, what a great deal, but my gut is saying walk away.
When my gut told me to forget buying back the E-PACE my wife and I ordered new from the factory in 2018, we went ahead and bought it in spite of having 71,000 miles on the odometer. We've owned Audi's, Bimmers, a Caddy, Chevys, Lexuses, a Merc, a Pontiac, a Scion, oddles of Toyotas, and a VW. Each make and Model had features we liked that other makes and models lacked. However, we've loved the eight Jags we've owned. We just had to downsize from a fleet of five Jags down to three.
I wouldn't say no "on sight". I would simply ask for more info. Maybe they will share, maybe they won't. My first Jaguar was a 20,000 mile CPO. I owned it for 10 trouble free years after that. Also bought an F Type with 12k and 2 years. Again perfect
Even if you buy used 'normal' consumer you will never know how hard the car has been driven. and 10k is not a lot of miles
Call the dealer and ask for the story. And yes - cpo for a one year old car gives you a long runway to discover and fix any issues
Used prices are dropping. It may just not be as easy to sell this now. It's the last year of their ICE vehicles so likely they will be trying to clear the dealers of inventory in the coming 8-10 months
Good luck!

The prices dropped because it's Year End 2023 dealer wants to avoid paying taxes on the car and sales year end bonuses.

For me I wouldn't be questioning about price being discounted on a car that I wanted to buy. I would consider it as a Blessing

Let us know once you've spoken to the dealer and learned more. I've bought several CPO Jags and LRs and every time the dealer has been quite open and transparent about the cars history, prior ownership and servicing etc. Two of them were the originating dealers so they knew a bit more, the other was willing to help with prior service info etc
No harm in asking.
