Default Photo of F-Pace Infotainment System

At the Art of Performance tour, Jaguar had 2 F-Paces, which the techs admitted were hand-built prototypes to raise awareness of the car. One of them had a fairly complete Infotainment system installed, and I must say - wow. This is a huge upgrade to what is in my F-Type, and I think (for me anyhow) it's taking me off the fence about buying this as a family hauler.

Both the central console and the instrument panel are full LCD displays, configurable and you can do some really nice stuff with them. For example, dropping the map with overlays into the instrument area.

Also - the HUD seems like a very nice feature. It seems to be more "laser" than projection, but then again inside the building, it was fairly dark.

I'm 98% sure that this is my next car, I just am a little undecided about the overall configuration. I realize that my XF's infotainment system is far from anything great but I just don't care about that aspect of the car so it's kind of hard for me to justify the upgrade to
the PRO, though, aesthetically I think it looks better than the standard setup--but I like analogue gauges. I'm an old fashioned 27 year old.

Looks great! And definitely a giant leap forward from my '16 F-Type R I just picked up last week.

OP, What's the utility in the back with the seats up like? Compared to other small luxury CUV, how much room would you compare to say a Q5, X3?

The cluster is OK but I would not call it state of the art. The Audi cluster has better visual details that make it look much nicer. I would like to have the option for InControl Touch Pro but with the standard analog cluster for less $.

There is easily 5-6" more shoulder room in the back seat vs. Q5, though I'm not sure you get any more leg room.

I'm pretty sure I will order mine with virtual dash. Not sure that I would have the Nav up on both screens. Don't see the point.
