I stopped by the local Jaguar dealership this afternoon to see what was available and I figured I would share the photos on here! Their "Official Launch Event" is tomorrow, but I was already at the dealership checking out the new Audi vehicles. Being a car enthusiast in the modern era is great! Lots of great options

I also got to test drive the F-Pace 35t R Sport. Overall, I think it's a great option to have available to buyers. I think it'll fit nicely in between the GLC, Macan S, Audi Q5, X3, etc. Driving dynamics are good and it handles itself quite well for an SUV. Under-steers at the limit though Power is good, but not overly impressive. Exhaust sound comes through quite well and adds some emotion to the driving experience. Steering is relatively light but is very natural feeling. The suspension is well-dampened and feels similar to most modern vehicles. Infotainment system is usable, but still lags behind the competitors in my honest opinion. It doesn't work as intuitively as you'd expect. Visibility is actually pretty good, and better than the Macan S from what I can remember. Backup camera has good resolution. Road noise is OK, not class leading; wind noise is very minimal. Steering wheel is a nice size and the controls feel nicer than you'd expect. Rear seats and hatch offer plenty of space, much better than Macan and probably comparable-or-better than the GLC.

Cons: lots of hard plastics (inside of rear doors, front door panels, etc). Infotainment is just OK, should be better. Digital dash is small and not as impressive as Audi Virtual Cockpit. Seating surfaces feel/look cheap on base models. Glossy plastics will likely scratch and be covered with finger prints and look bad. No unlock button on passenger door?! *Hmm maybe there's more here I'll think of later*














I got lucky and was able to sit in the XE before they covered it up!
