Service Shops in MA
Are there any f-pace owners in Massachusetts here? Where do you service you cars, did you find anyone reliable reasonably priced shops, other than the dealer for Oil Changes, Breaks replacements etc?
I've only gone to the dealership in Peabody since mine is still under warranty. I have always had excellent experience there. But I am very interested to see if anyone has found a service place that they find reliable and trustworthy.
Where are you based? I'm close to Boston so I tend to use the Jaguar Boston dealer (Herb Chambers) who have been v good (but expensive). I used to use Norwood for many years before the Boston one opened / they are good too (and I think better priced) but do less on Jag now as they shifted to just LR dealer.
For things like brakes - any decent garage can do that. Nothing special. If you are 'handy' I'd strongly suggest doing them yourself. I did my XF for 10 years, LR4 and Discovery too. V easy and you can buy premium parts of great aftermarket setup and it's v cheap....
There are a few Jaguar specialists in MA. Samuals near Boston for older jags but I don't think they have the diagnostic (or experience) on newer ones
People swear by Upton Foreign Motors for Jag repairs - I've seen amazing reviews including here in the forum but a bit further for me so I haven't done it
Do you wrench yourself? Many of us work on these cars and can guide if you want to save even more...
In general the euro specialist (Audi, Beamer, Mercedes) are good with jags too.
