Had a 2017 F Pace with it, had a 2019 with it, now I have a 2022 with it but I can’t tell it’s there this time around. The other two I could see it, this time I don’t see the purplish tint, I don’t see the edge of the laminate anywhere. Does anyone have a 2021 or 2022 with it? Can you see it? Let me know. I think the wrong windshield was put 2022. It’s heated and was supposed to have the solar laminate. I don’t see the laminate.
I have the Solar Attenuating Windscreen option on an model year 2021. On the order forms it said “047EB Windscreen infrared reflective” and “047EB Solar Attenuating Windscreen”.
The windscreen has three icons in the corner for Heating, Solar, and HUD.
The Solar icon has a thermometer, and I presume this is for the “Solar Attenuating Windscreen” option.
The Heating icon has four swiggly vertical lines, and presumably this is for the “040AK Windscreen heated” option I also have on order form. The windscreen also has visible small wires for heating de-icing throughout.
The HUD icon is for Heads Up Display, because glass is special to reflect and remove double image from refraction.
I cannot see any colour tint on the glass, certainly nothing noticeable link purple or green tints that I have seen on other cars on the road (non FPACE).
The symbol arrowed in red is for Solar Attenuating (a.k.a. Thermal Comfort). The symbol to the left of it is Heated and to the right compatible with HUD.
PVB indicates the interlayer between the two sheets of float glass is Polyvinyl Butyral and 70% min indicates it complies with the permitted minimum of 70% light transmission.

In addition, the grayish "tint" film on mine doesn't cover 100% of the glass, there are 2 untinted (clear) areas up high by the matrix dots by the rearview mirrow where one can mount a toll transponder or similar tag without interference from any metal in the tint. At least my 2020 has those 2 blank spots where it's obvious where the tint begins/ends (perhaps 2021+ is different?).
I too had a 2019 FPace S with this type windshield and said the same thing with my new 2022 SVR. I understand they changed suppliers for the 21 models year
