SOS system limited functionality
Hi all,
Apologies if this is a stupid question (but I'll ask it anyway)
The battery on my F Pace died and since it was changed yesterday I now have 2 messages on the dashboard:
(1) something about the SOS system having limited functionality
(2) an amber airbag message *which has been intermittent in the past but is now on constantly)
I'm looking to sell the car as soon as possible but when I've contacted the Jaguar approved dealer to see if I can get the faults looked at, they don't have availability to see the car for atleast a month
Is it only approved dealers who can rectify these faults or would other garages be able to sort them?

Did you replace with a new battery? And has it been fully charged? You can get random errors from a low battery. A new battery is rarely well charged. So either a long drive or use a charger to fill it up
What's the voltage across the battery terminals when the car is off? And when it's running?
