I need to put my girlfriend’s F-Pace on my two-post lift but I’m not 100% sure where the two-post lift points are. I’m not familiar with putting a unibody vehicle on a lift. The diagram I’ve seen looks like the lift points for a lift are on the pinch weld. I have pinch weld adapters for a jack, but I’m not sure those locations are best for lifting the entire vehicle weight on a two-post lift. Is it safe to use these locations for a two-post lift?
Got the oil and filter changed as well as the cabin air filter. Man, that cabin filter change is fun. I ended up buying some hockey pucks from Amazon and used those for lift spacers. They worked very well.
I'm soooooooooo jealous of your garage, and that color F-Pace. Righteous setup.
Thanks. When we were finally able to buy some land and build our house, a shop was a must for me. It has been a true blessing. The lift was a big bonus and is a back and joint saver at my age. My girlfriend really held out for a while trying to find an F-Pace in Caesium Blue. She happened to find it right after they took it in on a trade before they even listed it. We drove to the dealership immediately and looked at it in their shop while the techs were looking it over for Certification. It came down to perfect timing. It was a killer deal with very low mileage and a warranty. She was so happy.
